Gosix is an abstract strategy game played on a 7 hexagons board. You're trying to control 4 of the 7 hexagons. The trick is: whenever you get control over an hexagon, you lose some of the pawns that made you win.
Players play on turn by placing a pawn on the board. You must discover how to win while losing as little pawns as possible, or "help" your opponent to win and have him lose as much pawns as possible.
Gosix is just freshly out of the workshop. Its rules might ajust as I test it more and as I receive comments from players. Your own comments are more than welcome. (last update 05/08/06)
You can start play Gosix after you read the rules (pdf) (90KB) (5 minutes reading), download the board (pdf) (20KB)
and recycle 2 sets of pawns from another game (20 pawns of each color should be enough). You can even play with your little brother or sister as long as they are over 7 !
